Innate logic of cities
Prof. Albert Speer will speak at 6pm at the TU Darmstadt about the innate logic of cities. To this the TU Darmstadt writes, “In this manner, ‘innate logic’ is the working term standing for specific and typical characteristics and implicitly-effective processes of the meaningful formation of a city, which is what this project aims to uncover. It is the cognitive interest to understand the fundamental structures as well as the relationships and similarities between the cities.”

Urban-Green in the 21st Century
- this is the title of the symposium at which Dr. Michael Denkel of AS&P will speak about the study "Frankfurt 2030" at 2pm on July 1st. The symposium is organized by the Deutsches Architekturmuseum in cooperation with the Palmengarten, the GrünGürtel Frankfurt am Main, the Gesellschaft für Gartenkunst und Landschaftskultur e.V. (DGGL) and the Federation of German Landscape Architects (BDLA). The event will take place in the auditorium at the Botanical Gardens of the Department of Biology, 72 Siesmayerstraße, Frankfurt.

Real Estate Jour Fixe
Prof. Albert Speer will speak at the Real Estate (Immobilien) Jour Fixe of the IHK Frankfurt, Darmstadt and Offenbach about “the desire to go overseas – what drives companies overseas”. From 6 until 8pm the international markets of the building and real estate industries will be examined. A further focus of the day’s agenda will be the presentation of the new EZB - European Central Bank - development in Frankfurt.

Architecture Day
On the 26th and 27th of July the Hessen Tag der Architektur (Architecture Day) will take place. This year marks the 16th Tag der Architektur in Hessen, where visitors are invited to take a look at residential buildings, schools, parks and much more. Guided tours through the KITA Goldstein by AS&P are possible on Saturday at 2pm and 4pm as well as on Sunday at 10am and 2pm.

Fundación Goethe is a foundation for the German-Spanish culture and economy in Madrid. Prof. Albert Speer will attend the event as a guest and give a lecture. The event will take place within the scope of a lecture series of the Fundación Goeth for the promotion of German-Spanish cultural and economic relations.

Quo vadis Mainz? – The road ahead for Mainz?
On the 24th of June, this question will also be asked by Dr. Michael Denkel of AS&P, who have already developed the Urban Master Plan for Cologne and the study of the future for Frankfurt am Main. The round table for the future of Mainz’s urban development, moderated by Reinhard Hübsch, will deal with prospect of a master plan for the city located on the Rhine. The event will begin at 6:00pm and is part of this year’s “Woche der Baukultur” Mainz (Building Culture Week).

Economic Structure Transformation and Urban Construction Management
On the 16th and 17th of June, Prof. Albert Speer will give lectures before a delegation of Chinese majors in Berlin. On Wednesday the 16th at 9am Speer will speak about “Sustainable regional and urban planning in the 21st century. Examples from China, Africa and Germany”. The lecture also at 9am Thursday will be about “Resource productivity and energy technologies in architecture and urban development”. The lectures are part of a seminar organized by inwent (Capacity Building International, Germany).
