2010 FIFA World Cup, Südafrika, 2003

AS&P was contracted to develop stadium layouts based on already existing schematic designs for the South African bid for the 2010 Soccer World Cup. While contributing to the "Bid Book South Africa 2010," AS&P provided counsel regarding the technical requirements on the stadiums by FIFA. AS&P also managed the creation of photorealistic architectural visualizationsü of the planned stadiums. Through close cooperation with the bid committee in South Africa, AS&P managed in just three months to draw up site plans, floorplans, and schematics for each of the thirteen stadiums serving as competition venues. These drawings will subsequently be used in South Africa's official bid documentation.
